Kate Janicki - Founder

My name is Kate Janicki and I am a horse trainer that focuses on creating confident, willing horses that are enjoyable to be around. I have studied many different equine disciplines and styles around the world and have developed a program where I train with a focus on clear communication and understanding of horse behavior. I have enjoyed learning and growing in this industry and I am excited to have created this program for horses and equestrians.

Hannah Janicki - Co founder

I have been in love with horses from the time I can remember, doing a little bit of everything from english/polo to western pleasure and reining. I am so excited about Broke and Branded because it is a horse community where people from all backgrounds can learn and love horses together.

Maren alves - Co founder

From a young age I learned to ride, starting primarily with english. As I grew older and time went on that hobby fell through. I rediscovered my love for riding by taking lessons from my dear friend and business partner Kate, whom has taught me nearly everything I know to this day. Soon after I remembered how much I missed this community, lifestyle, and all the special bonds it creates. This year I entered my very first show in which I came out with a 3rd, thanks to Kate providing me with the opportunity to ride her horse. I recently tried polo for the first time with my other friend and business partner Hannah, and I am determined to expand my riding style comfort zone due to my amazing friends who push me to improve while maintaining a fun atmosphere.
